I just finished reading through the Moeller's 100 Nearly Free Ways to Market Your Book. I strongly believe this is a must-have book for any author. It not only gives you useful and unique ideas for the promoting your book but also breaks down marketing into very tangible inexpensive activities that any author can do.

I am currently writing a fictional book. After reading 100 Nearly Free Ways to Market Your Book, I now feel less anxiety about how am I going to market my book and, in a way, more motivated to finish writing my book because of this resource.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Best Seller Book Advice!, September 7, 2012

This review is from: Bestseller: 100 Nearly Free Ways to Market Your Book (Kindle Edition)
This book was an inspiring, great quick read. I've thought of an idea for a book personally and as I read through ways to market a book, I was encouraged that it really is a tangible dream! This book also is a great reference to keep going back to. It has very realistic advice that can be carried out. I also appreciate that although the marketing can be nearly free, the work needed to put forth is clearly noted.
I am looking forward to starting my own book and looking to this one to be a great dependable help to get that book out there. I also appreciate the focus on God and keeping Him in the forefront of marketing as well as truly caring for others despite their reaction to your book or your marketing.
Great advice Moellers!

There is Writing Progress in Numbers

You don't have to be a member of a writer's group that meets weekly, but at the very least you
need to have some type of online accountability.  This will enable you to achieve more of your writing goals more quickly.

Writing is hard work, not just academically and creatively, but also emotionally spiritually and physically.

It's kind of like running a marathon versus being on a NFL football team.

The way you could make your goal of running a marathon would be to join a support group/runner's group
who helped you to push through at a physical and emotional level.  As you set small goals together
you can do it!

Lots of my books on Kindle click here

Here's a sampling of some of the covers

I am working now to perfect my author page on amazon.com for amazon, kindle, and createspace. com.  That is important for authors.

I am also working to make all my Kindle books in to Createspace.com books, so people can choose to have a hold-in-your-hand paperback version of each of my self-published Kindle books.  Some of my other
Kindle books are with national publishers so that kind of takes care of them for now.

I Try to Show My Readers What is Inside my Book By Giving Them a Sampling!

1.  Chicken Pot Pie Comfort Soup with Pie Crust Crackers

This is a great slow cooker soup to put on in the morning.  Play or work all day and come home to a comfort meal with a to-die-for aroma.  Then, make the Pie Crust Crackers quickly right before supper.

Ingredients:

1 stick butter or margarine
1 cup flour
2 cups chicken, cooked and diced
2 cups fresh mini-baby carrots
2 cups frozen or fresh green peas (sometimes I substitute 2 cups celery, chopped)
3 cups tiny petite red potatoes with skin left on, washed and cut in half
8 cups chicken stock
1 cup evaporated milk or cream
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon ground pepper
Refrigerated pie crust that you roll out

Preparation for the Soup:

1.  In a crock pot, melt the stick of margarine or butter.
2.  Sprinkle the flour on the melted butter and stir around for five minutes until thickening starts.
3.  Place all the rest of the ingredients in except for milk/cream and pie crust.
4.  Stir well.
5.  Place crock pot cover on and cook for 4 hours on low or 7-8 hours on high.

6.  Add the cream and stir well and cook one hour more, before serving.

Preparation for the Pie Crust Crackers:

1.  Preheat oven to 375.
2.  Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
3.  Roll out the pie dough and cut into small pie shaped pieces, maybe 12 of them.
4.  Variation might be to sprinkle with a touch of sea salt or celery salt.
5.  Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.
6.  These are your "crackers" for your soup.

2.  It's Too Easy Bean Soup

Ingredients:

1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. salt
2 15-ounce cans black beans, drained (sometimes I use the juice also)
2 cups water
2 cups chicken stock
1/2 cup prepared salsa

Preparation for Soup:
1.  Put everything into the slow cooker, except the corn or flour tortillas
2.  Stir well.
3.  Cover your slow cooker.
4.  Cook on high for three hours or low for six hours.
5.  Serve with cut fresh limes to squeeze into your soup.

Preparation for Tortilla Crackers:

1.  Preheat oven to 375.
2.  Cut several corn or flour tortillas into 8 pie shaped pieces.
3.  Lay on parchment paper on cookie sheet.
4.  Bake for 15 minutes, watching closely.
5.  These are the "crackers" for your bean soup.
