From a recent conference attender:
"Our four days together have made a meaningful difference in my life. I desperately needed the encouragement and motivation I found in Cheryl Moeller’s workshop for writers. Help came at just the right time.
I was a writer at the top of my field for many years. But two years of unemployment and a fruitless job search had robbed me of my confidence. The daily effort to write, to work toward a new dream, soon became a struggle, then a battle. Insecurity and despair were winning. And I was losing ground, ready to give up.
But in less than a week, Cheryl helped me find that fire again. Her workshop, and the caliber of writers she attracts, became a source of inspiration. She got me on my feet again. She gave me back my dream."  - Toni Salama, former senior travel editor, Chicago Tribune

Great Opportunity for Teaching or Tutoring on How to Start a Blog or Jazz up Your Blog

I often say at my Writing and Publishing Conferences that a Blog is a monster that needs to be fed.
But, with the right purpose and focus, a blog can serve you instead of you serving the blog.

Once you have your call, your focus, your brand and you are ready to blog, you still have a lot of
technical issues to deal with.

My friend, Patty Wysong, author and speaker, teaches online blogging workshops.  She is also
available for online personal blog tutoring.

                                                                     Patty Wysong

Even though I have been blogging for five years, I hope to take advantage of Patty's blogging classes myself this summer.

Spring Housecleaning for Your Writing - Reorganize, Renew, and Refresh

Reorganize:  Do something this week in some area of your writing to reorganize. Turbo-charge your writing with a new workable plan within a goal that has not been productive.

Here I am pulling all my students under one roof with a blog, instead of monthly email blasts.

Renew:  All I have to write about is who I am/who I am in Christ (and those two things are not separate) - meet with Him often.

I renew by reading five chapters from the Holy Bible once a day and worship Him/talk to Him every day in Praise, reflection, and petition.

Refresh:  Energize.  Make a plan that becomes a habit. Pair it with my husband, a friend, or listening to music.

I am going to start walking in the morning instead of the evening to get more oxygen to my brain for the day.

Thinking about your writing, use the words Reorganize, Renew, or Refresh, and leave me a comment today.
